Condition & logistics
Running vs. Not Running
We accept motorcycles in any condition—running or not! Whether it’s just been parked too long or it needs a bit of work, your donation contributes to a good cause.
Title Issues
Make sure the title is signed on the back with the odometer reading. If you’ve misplaced the title, we can still help guide you through the process of acquiring a duplicate in Maryland.
Storage and Pickup Logistics
Worried about how to get that motorcycle to us? Don’t fret! We offer free towing services throughout Baltimore, making it easy to donate without any hassle.
Title transfer & paperwork
In Maryland, transferring the title of your motorcycle is straightforward. You'll need to fill out the appropriate forms, which are available on the Maryland DMV website. If required, the title needs to be notarized before you hand it over. Additionally, don’t forget to return your license plates to the DMV! This protects you from any future liabilities associated with the vehicle.
Tax deduction for this donation
Donating your motorcycle can lead to a tax deduction, typically in the range of $500 to $5,000, depending on the condition and sale price. Once your donation is complete, you’ll receive IRS Form 1098-C to help you claim that deduction on your next tax return. It’s a win-win for you and for those in need!
