Vehicles we accept in Baltimore

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At CarLift Baltimore, we believe in giving new life to vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Whether your car has seen better days or you're looking to donate a running vehicle, we've got you covered! We accept nearly anything, from drivable cars to non-running clunkers. Your donation will not only help clear out your driveway but also support our mission of connecting local neighbors with essential benefits programs like SNAP and Maryland Medicaid. So, no matter the condition of your vehicle, we're here to turn it into a positive impact for our Baltimore community.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
2000-present

Typically, cars and sedans are auctioned to generate funds, allowing local residents to benefit from vital services. If they are not drivable, they may be stripped for parts or recycled responsibly.

In Baltimore, these vehicles help many families get access to transportation, an essential resource for work and school.

Pickup Trucks
2000-present

Pickup trucks often get sold at auction or repurposed for parts. Their rugged design makes them popular for families needing a reliable vehicle or for trade workers in need of transport.

With many tradespeople and service industries in the area, donated pick-ups are critical for supporting local entrepreneurs.

SUVs & Crossovers
2005-present

These vehicles tend to attract higher auction prices, providing more funding for community services. If non-drivable, they might be recycled or utilized for parts.

Families in Baltimore love their SUVs for weekend trips and city adventures, making them a practical donation choice.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles can be auctioned or sold for parts, appealing to a niche market that loves two-wheeled exploration.

Motorcycle enthusiasts in Baltimore can really use these donations for upgrades, repairs, and community events.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers are often sold at auction, where they can fetch good prices or be dismantled for valued parts.

With so many scenic getaways around Baltimore, these donations make road trips more accessible for families.

Boats
1995-present

Boats can be auctioned off to fishing enthusiasts or stripped for parts, ensuring nothing goes waste.

Given Baltimore's waterfront, boats are a valued donation that can help local watersport lovers.

Commercial Vehicles
2000-present

Commercial vehicles are typically auctioned or sold to local businesses needing reliable transport, boosting the local economy.

Baltimore's bustling business community benefits greatly from these donations, allowing trades to thrive.

Non-running Vehicles
Any year

Even if your vehicle isn't running, it can still be donated. These cars are often dismantled for parts or recycled, ensuring sustainability.

In Baltimore, non-running vehicles might help fill the gaps in resource availability for community members needing transportation.

Condition guide

When it comes to vehicle donations, understanding the condition of your car is essential. Running vehicles are always the best option, as they can be sold at auction or directly to buyers. Non-running vehicles are also accepted and can be stripped for parts or recycled, ensuring they contribute positively to our community's needs. Just because your car has seen better days doesn’t mean it can't be utilized effectively!

Now, if you have a salvage title, don’t worry! Many vehicles with salvage titles can still be donated, but we evaluate them case-by-case. If your vehicle has a rebuilt or reconstructed title, it may also be accepted, depending on the specifics. Vehicles with a lienholder present or missing titles require a more careful review, so it's best to contact us directly to see how we can help.
